Hello from Ontario, Canada

Hey guys I am Dan from Ontario, Canada.
I'm a software engineer in my late 20s and a fan of classical music.
Marijuana has been something I have enjoyed for the past ~10 years and I can't be more excited to start cultivating my own.
(next week cultivation of cannabis is finally legal in Canada for personal recreational use.)
I decided to sign up in this forum to expand my knowledge and ask for advice from more experienced Cannabis gardeners.

I feel bad for you and all others in your province, who had expected the cross country liberalization of our antiquated old marijuana law, that Ontario’s new cannabis industry isn’t allowing any recreational stores, opening for another full 6 months.


That’s an eternity. Longer than we experienced from the proposed original legalization date, in July, until next week.

I thought this new horizon was going to blanket the country, not be intermittent.

I wonder why the delay happened at all?
