    @Foggy Dell
    The vegetables are being fed by Miracle-Gro "shake and feed". I applied some garden lime to the area due to the fire pit being there. (Ashes lower pH of soil). As much as we knock M-Gro...they have their place in the gardening world. Their shake and feed use organic (technically) inputs for the N-P-K. The other inputs for "micros" are where they get chemically. I havent researched any affect the M-Gro has long term on the soil. Like nitrate build up. Does any thing leach through the growing process? Nect year the vegetable garden will probably be on "top dressed" organic soil amendments. That would just be better in my opinion.
