So while I was waiting for Amazon to ship my new copy of "Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower's Bible" by none other than Jorge Cervantes, I was in my local library looking up horticultural books when a certain cover of a book just looked familiar to me and I pulled it off the shelf. It was "Gardening Indoors with Soil & Hydroponics" by George Van Patten. I thumbed through it and decided to check it out of the library. Reading through the book I made mention a few times to my wife how the book had a "weedy" undertone about it. There were even a couple of paragraphs and sentences that made me believe the author was growing something other than the veggies and orchids that he talked about. So about a week later my copy of the "Medical Grower's Bible" showed up and when I opened it, to my surprise, this was the cover that made Van Patten's book look so familiar. As I started thumbing through my new Bible, to an even more of a surprise, the same pictures were in both books!!! Most of the paragraphs read word for word. And some of the pictures (artist redendered) were changed only by the "PLANT" that was drawn.
So it made me stop and wonder, who is George Van Patten and who is ripping who off here?!?!?
