    0 Not allowed!
Here are a few strains from big bomb seeds that have high cbd contents.

    bomb seeds Medi bomb #1:
Bomb Seeds Medi Bomb #1 Medi Bomb #1 is an Indica dominant cross of Bomb #1 and a selected Dutch pharmaceutical strain. Medi Bomb #1 stays fairly short; around 70-100 cm and thanks to the Bomb #1 influence has great yield and a powerful punch, which gives an Indica dominant look to the plant. Short wide leaves that grow from small internodal points mean the overall effect is of a short/medium height, stocky and bushy plant. When ripening, Medi Bomb #1 will develop a very thick coating of dense white crystals covering the buds and upper leaves. Thanks to very high levels of CBD, Medi Bomb #1 has a strong calming effect, relaxing body and muscles. Medical users also report Medi Bomb #1 inducing a deep relaxing sleep combating insomnia and similar complaints. To maximise the resin production and get the best out of Medi Bomb, it is recommended that it be kept in total darkness for the last few days. This strains yields are considered superb, the taste is a sweet and sour flavour, with a strong smell and pleasant smoke. Type: Indica/Sativa (Indica dominant Indoor/Outdoor: Indoor/Outdoor Plant Height: Short-Medium (70-100cm) Indoor Flowering: 7-8 Weeks THC: High (15-20%) Harvest Outdoor: Sep-Oct Yield: High (450-500g/m²) Stoned/High: Strong, body stone

    Bomb Seeds Hash Bomb:
Bomb Seeds Hash Bomb Hash Bomb is an absolute must for hash lovers and medical users alike. A perfect cross of a powerful hash plant from the far-east, a new age Amsterdam Skunk and Bomb #1. The result is a high CBD level plant that is perfect for hash production. Hash Bomb is a medium-high strength strain with a strong, tranquilising effect. It produces a calming, sedative and pain relieving effect rather than a psychoactive high. Hash Bomb’s aroma is sweet and with low levels of odour making it an easy to conceal, low profile strain. The addition of Bomb #1 has meant higher production and fast flowering times. This strain shows excellent mould resistance. Along with Medi Bomb #1, this is one of our top calming, medical effect strains. Type: Indica Indoor/Outdoor: Indoor/Outdoor Plant Height: Medium (90-140cm) Indoor Flowering: 6-8 Weeks THC: High (15-20%) Harvest Outdoor: Sep-Oct Yield: High (500-600g/m²) Stoned/High: Hard hitting, sedative stone

This week i will be doing a web strain hunt specifically on cbd rich strains. I'll post my results here when i finish.
I am very interested in breeding my own strains of medical marijuana and want to end up with around 20-25% cbd and high levels of all the other canabinoids to create the ultimate medical strain.

    breeder: cbd seeds:

    All the varieties by this breeder are high in cbd as the name hints. a few examples;
CBD Seeds Auto White - This variety has become very popular in a short time because as we all know, does not respond to photoperiod, but it flourishes regardless of the date of the year in which we, or light it receives. Originally a plant of small dimensions, ideal for small spaces, form a single central baton about 30-40cm. In CBD and stabilize this auto crossed with another variety flourishing larger in order to improve its taste and production, obtaining samples and effects machines with really unique flavors. No doubt you'll get great results from this friendly and unassuming friend.

CBD Seeds Auto Widow CBD Auto Widow was CBD Seeds' first variety autoflowering. Results of crossing and stabilizing their two best individual autoflowering plants was achieved by carrying on their fast flowering time, regardless of the number of hours of light that it received. When this strain was ready, CBD looked at their bank, a variety that will give you the taste and odour characteristics which in their opinion, was missing. This was achieved with their Widow, producer of heavy and fragrant flowers, also a relatively short flowering period.
Auto Widow is a variety that is usually unbranched indoors a lot, and forms a central club 25 to 40 cm completely covered with crystals. The indoor production is usually 25g. Its strong effect, will bring about the taste sweetish flavors of wood, pine and liquorice. Recommended indoor artificial light 20 hours and 7 liter pot to get the maximum possible output.

CBD Seeds Auto Yumbolt The mother of this strains is originally from Afghanistan autoflowering and was naturalized in the mountains of Humboldt County, California, for over thirty years. It is a genetic kept unchanged for a long time. The father is a copy of Rudelaris selected for its resin production and aroma.
This autoflowering populating the whole plant flower buds, that end up being dense clusters of flowers covered with glass from the side branches to the central stalk.
    Genotype: 80% Yumbolt / 20% Ruderalis
    Production: 45/25 g
    Flowering: 9 - 10 Weeks

CBD Seeds Cheese This is the most famous strain in the UK, where talking of cannabis almost meant to talk about Cheese, until not long ago. This variety was developed by a squatter collective called Exodus from Skunk clones. Cheese was soon known for being fast, productive and most importantly, having a sweet aromatic taste (for some people it reminds them of Critical) mixed with remnants of cheese, the feature that gets this strain its name.
Indoor growing of Cheese is widespread throughout Britain, since it blooms in eight weeks, forming tight buds with a considerable resin layer over it. To get a successful harvest you should avoid exposing it to high temperatures, providing adequate ventilation and extraction to get the maximum quality and quantity.
    Outdoor harvest: Early October
    Production: High
    Genotype: Exodus Skunk
Phenotype: Indica/Sativa hybrid. Recommended for farmers with previous experience
Effect: The effect is very strong and medicine for insomnia and pain
    Smell: Strong, cheese
Taste: It has an earthy, like moss

CBD Seeds Critical CBD Seeds Critical The critical is carefully selected from a wide variety of individuals by their fast maturation and production. We became great friends because it is a plant that did not stop surprising us with its combination of phenotypes Indica/Sativa and its wide taste of watermenlon or candy flavours. Taste: Exotic fruits, candy Smell: Candies, mild fragrance Effect: Powerful, cerebral, active THC:14-16% CBD:High Flowering:45-54 days Mid September Production: 400-500 gr indoor/m2 600-700 gr outdoor

CBD Seeds Diesel CBD Diesel variety is one that enjoys the best reputation in the United States. It is believed that the first clones were selected by a grower in New York, so that is why it is also known as New York City Diesel.
The plants are very similar to one another. making it an excellent choice for sea of green (SoG) crops. We recommend starting the flowering cycle with enough fertiliser, since pistils develop a few days after changing the light cycle to twelve hours. Its flowers and leaves become purple and golden at the end of the flowering cycle, which a delight to behold.
The buds have the unmistakeable smell of diesel that has generated its reputation on both sides of the ocean. For those more observant, it hides a hint of citrus and even spiciness, just rounding out its character.
    Outdoor harvest: Early October
    Production: Medium/High
    Genotype: Sativa-Indica hybrid
    Phenotype: Indica dominant
    Effect: Cerebral, powerful
    Smell: Citrus, diesel
    Taste: Sweet, grapefruit

    breeder: dutch passion:
Dutch Passion CBD SkunkHaze Dutch Passion CBD SkunkHaze
In 2012 Dutch Passion began working with the CBD Crew to produce a range of feminized cannabis seeds which produce plants rich in the cannabinoid CBD. A variety with over 4% CBD is regarded as CBD rich.
Traditionally cannabis has THC levels of 12-21% and CBD levels of 0.1% to 0.3%. However some varieties have now been cultivated with much higher CBD levels.
CBD has a number of important properties, it can help with relaxation and nausea, reduce anxiety and improve sleep. CBD varieties may allow users to medicate themselves yet still think clearly and function well.
For recreational users, the new CBD varieties may be a less intense but equally pleasurable alternative to traditional varieties.
CBD Skunk Haze comes from a project between Dutch Passion and CBD Crew. The goal was to achieve an optimum ratio of 1:1 THC:CBD. For medical use low %THC is preferred for some medical patients who want a relaxing and high quality genuine cannabis effect without the intensity that some high THC varieties give. Recreational users find that high CBD levels give a very comfortable and smooth high without anxiety or paranoia. CBD Skunk Haze contains 5% THC and 5% CBD. To create this variety our Haze/Skunk (winner of the 1992 High Times Cannabis Cup) was carefully crossed with a high CBD variety.
CBD Skunk Haze produces large tall plants. This Sativa/Indica cross (50/50) produces large buds which are not too dense. The aroma and taste are of spicy cedar wood alongside tones of citrus, pine and mint. CBD Skunk Haze grows well Indoors and in a greenhouse. The flowering period is approximately 10 weeks and yields up to 450 grams/m2 are possible under ideal conditions.
Dutch Passion cooperation with the CBD Crew !
Dutch Passion will be working with the CBD-Crew to produce CBD-rich versions of a few of our varieties. The seeds will give rise to regular and feminized varieties with a 1:1 ratio of THC to CBD.

    breeder: cbd crew: as the name says, all varieties by this breeder are high in cbd. a few examples;

CBD Crew Seeds Shark CBD Crew Seeds Shark This is CBD rich version of Shark Shock, a White Widow x Skunk #1 hybrid. The CBD version produces fast flowering, short yet strong plants. Yields are increased by growing a little longer than necessary. This is a fruity strain with subtle notes of onion and garlic. Breeder CBD Crew Genetics Shark Shock Pack Size 5 Seeds Variety Mostly Indica THC Content 6% CBD Content 6% Yield 400 sq m Grows Greenhouse, Grows indoors Flowering Time 8 Weeks Harvest Month October Medicinal Properties 1:1 THC:CBD Ratio - a CBD rich strain.

CBD Crew Seeds Critical Mass CBD Crew Seeds Critical Mass The CBD enriched Critical Mass is, as its origins would imply, a large yielding strain. It grows like a sativa but with heavy, dense indica-like flowers. Its buds can get so heavy during flowering that there is a good need to support them to avoid snapping. CBD Critical Mass has a rich honey sweetness with deep and strong complex aromas. Breeder CBD Crew Genetics Critical Mass Pack Size 5 Seeds Variety Mostly Indica Sex THC Content 5% CBD Content 5% Yield 500g sq m Grows Greenhouse, Grows indoors Flowering Time 8 Weeks Harvest Month September/October Medicinal Properties 1:1 THC:CBD Ratio - a CBD rich strain.

CBD Crew Seeds Skunk Haze CBD Crew Seeds Skunk Haze Skunk Haze produces large, sativa plants and so does the CBD enriched variation. Plants are tall but self-supporting with large airy sativa flowers. The aroma and flavour are of spicy cedar wood alongside tones of citrous, pine and peppermint. Breeder CBD Crew Genetics Skunk Haze Pack Size 5 Seeds Variety Indica / Sativa THC Content 5% CBD Content 5% Yield 450g sq m Grows Greenhouse, Grows indoors Flowering Time 10 Weeks Harvest Month November Medicinal Properties 1:1 THC:CBD Ratio - a CBD rich strain.

CBD Crew Seeds Sweet'n Sour Widow CBD Crew Seeds Sweet'n Sour Widow A CBD enriched White Widow strain, this grows vigorously during the vegetative stage and on flowering produces slightly airy flower clusters, which end highly resinous. The airy start to the bud formation makes this strain more suitable for humid areas where more compact plants would suffer from mould. This strain has a distinct but pleasant odour with a sour onion fragrance. Breeder CBD Crew Genetics White Widow Pack Size 5 Seeds Variety Mostly Indica THC Content 5% CBD Content 5% Yield 400g sq m Grows Greenhouse, Grows indoors, Grows outdoors Flowering Time 8 Weeks Harvest Month September/October Medicinal Properties 1:1 THC:CBD Ratio - a CBD rich strain.

    breeder: resin seeds;
Resin Seeds - CannatonicThe best of both worlds, a phenotype selected from the hybrid cross between a female MK Ultra (F1) and the all time famous G13 Haze male. Grows like an Indica, smells like a Sativa and renders you... Cannatonic!
    Indica/Sativa: 50/50
    THC: 20-25%
    cbd: 5.6%
    Flowering time Indoor: 9-10 weeks
    Harvesting time Outdoor: October
Yield Indoor: 500 gr per m2

Resin Seeds - Dieseltonic Aka: Pickantona
Dieseltonic is our newest member to the CBD rich family and she has the same CBD/THC ratio possibilities as Cannatonic, the CBD-Queen. She is another great addition to your healing plants collection. We crossed Somas N.Y.C. Diesel with a reverted Cannatonic. Due to the different chemotype, the effects could have a wide range depending on the selected pheno. Ca. 50% of the plants will carry 1:1 THC/CBD. which is great for medical use. Diseltonic has a 8-9 week flowering time and a 400-500gr pr m2 with a 600w set up. She is a quite easy plant to grow and is also very resistant against fungus and powdery mildew.
With Dieseltonic you will get nice looking buds with a hint of both the distinct smell of New York Diesel and the aromatic Cannatonic, a perfect combination. She has a sweet citrus mandarin flavour and will keep you smiling for a long time. The effect of Dieseltonic is often energetic and uplifting, great for days with activities.
Tips: Dieseltonic, like Cannatonic, like to have the lights higher than average above them and give bigger yields this way. For a 600w lamp the distance should be 1 m from top of plant to the bulb.
    Genetics: NYD x Cannatonic
    Indica/Sativa: 50/50
    THC/CBD: 1:1
Flowering: Interior 8-9 weeks / Exterior October
Yield: Interior 400-500 gr per m2
Yield Outdoor: 250-400 gr per plant

    clone only
    Clone Only Strains - Gravity
Gravity floated its way to T.H. Seeds on a long journey. In 1999 it started her in Amsterdam in limited batches from Neville and Shanti Baba. This multi hybrid indica proved itself by being kept alive for years only to return to Amsterdam, this time as a clone...
Nevil: Gravity was a 4 way indica I made for Sensi using an extremely potent Hash Plant x NL1 as the mother. There were a couple of versions. The effect was seriously heavy. Gravity! cbd: 9.25%

    Clone Only Strains - Harlequin
Harlequin is one phenotype of a plant bred to produce hashish. The genes are 75% sativa and 25 % indica. The Sativas include an early-1970s Columbian Gold, a Thai from the mountains near Laos, and a Swiss native land race that was bred for consumption of cattle. The Indica is from Nepal's Mustang state. These are all high-elevation plants... Harlequin is available as a clone at dispensaries in the Bay Area that are participants in Project CBD, including Sparc and the Vapor Room. The smell and taste are sweet with an almost syrupy heaviness that is pleasant on the inhale and the exhale. she needs about 60 to 70 days indoors to finish her full flowering. She sets flowers fairly quickly compared to other strains. I see fingertip-sized bud set at two weeks of flower - compared to pencil-eraser size in other plants at the same two weeks of flower. She really needs some way to support the colas the last few weeks because the trichomes and flowering tops get so heavy. Along those same lines, in a drying room where strains like Blueberry or Bubba Kush take seven to 10 days for drying before curing, the Harlequin can take as long as three weeks. She can be completely obscured by 'sugar' to where she looks "frosted".
    Cannabinoids in Harlequin Leaf?
Earlier this year Wilson Linker, a sales executive at Steep Hill Lab, tested leaves taken from a Harlequin plant about five weeks after it was started indoors from a clone. "Still completely in veg," he says of the plant. Linker took leaves from different various parts of the plant, ground them up, and tested them by GC/MS. To his surprise, the leaf tested at approximately 4% CBD and 2% THC.
Linker repeated the test and confirmed the results with another Harlequin clone started the same day. Key questions will be answered by more testing: Do all Harlequin plants produce cannabinoids in the vegetative state? Do other CBD-rich strains have this trait?
"The true benefit," says Linker, "would be that you could extract the CBD in mid-summer, not wait for buds before harvesting. There's obvious implications for making edibles and tinctures. Imagine not having to deal with a harvest!"

    Connoisseur Genetics - SSSDH

Expect classic haze aromas infused with sweet lemon candy goodness and diesel edge.
    Flower Time: 10-12 Weeks cbd:9.5%

    Location: indoor, outdoor
    Type: sativa

not a single problem. doing these kinds of online hunts is one of my favorite things to do when toking it up late at night.
So far I have only posted those varieties that I can find the exact percentages of but ofcourse the landrace varieties are also high in cannabinoids. attitude seeds has a nice section of landraces here.

    Hi Master_haze

Thanks for posting this info, it's an interest of mine too.

I read this this morning and noticed that CBD Seeds (not CBD Crew) were mentioned - I've come across their seeds before and noted that, despite their name, their seeds aren't actually very CBD rich. Could be wrong, so please correct me if I am.

If it's ok to post a Youtube vid in here the narrator of the film spoke to them at Spannabis and when questioned they admitted they had no idea of the content because they had not had any lab testing undertaken.

Anyway, here's the vid, not trying to cause shitstorm, just adding to the discussion:

I know that for most breeders, cbd is just a sales gimmick, but at least it provides you with a starting point from which you could start selecting on cbd count to make a variety that actually is high in cbd.

Respectfully, I'm not sure I follow your reasoning. I was pointing out that the company named 'CBD Seeds' (not CBD Crew) in particular don't actually have much interest in, or knowledge of, the CBD ratios in the strains they sell, as demonstrated in the video I linked to Nothing wrong with that, nothing at all, just that their company name might indicate otherwise which I think is why you included it in the list you posted and which I couldn't help but comment on.

There are companies who appear to have a serious interest in cultivating stable CBD rich strains (Resin Seeds, Mr Nice/CBD Crew, Reggae Seeds, Rare Dankness [in the near future] to name a just a few) so, if it were me, and I was looking to experiment or find some keepers and stock to breed with, I guess I would start with seeds from these named companies. Certainly none of them guarantee stability or consistent ratios but, from my own experience, a good percentage of their plants deliver.

Yes, I think I take your point, though, you certainly have to filter through the descriptions and hype to get to the facts in this field although it's not quite so full of bullshit as the LED light scene (trust me on that one).

    ATB, Podencoid

PS. just growing out some unreleased CBD rich test seeds for Shantibaba at the moment but have been too busy with work commitments to get a diary together. I'll try to get a diary up here as soon as I can and for the other CBD strains I seem to have collected over the last 6 months.
